Natural Resources Wales (NRW) is combating a major outbreak of Phytophthora ramorum (larch disease) in the Welsh Government Forests in south and mid Wales. Part of the control of this disease is reducing the risk of transfer from an infected site to a non-infected site. One of the control measures is ensuring that all plant and equipment involved in forestry operations is thoroughly cleaned down when it leaves an infected forestry site.
