Rehabilitation tower bjerkvik church

Tower at bjerkvik church is conducted by poured concrete. The wall thickness is 150 mm. The roof is a hipped roof with the main support structure of wooden beams with bolted joints. On the truss is horizontal takstrø with roof sheathing, wood and copper plates as roofing. Interior and exterior design has uncovered much loose concrete in most windowed stealthy, which in turn has caused fallout of concrete chunks. The woodwork on the windowsills have worn surface and incipient decay. Roof sheathing, takstrø and exterior wooden structures in eaves has extensive rot. The work will help to restore keep church building constructional features and it should be undertaken as rehabillitering of coating on concrete and wood surfaces, replacement of woodwork prone to rot. There will also be carried rehabilitation of roofs, window and door frames, wall ribs covered including bird netting. All window and dørsmug require full mechanical rehabilitation.
