The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) has a requirement for the Provision of Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services in Somalia. The successful Contractor will be expected to provide laundry services (washing, drying and ironing) and dry cleaning services to UN Staff members, contractors and entitled personnel (customers) who are deployed in Somalia (locations are: Mogadishu, Baledogle, Dhobley, Baidoa, Belet Weyne, Jowhar, Kismaayo and any other location). For this requirement, UNSOS will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and considers inviting those companies which will have expressed their interest and provided initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNSOS’s requirement. Please note, this is not an invitation for submission of a price proposal. Interested companies must complete the Vendor Response Form and Return it to the attention of UNSOS Chief Procurement Officer no later than 04:00 PM Nairobi local time on 5 June 2017, via (a) e-mail as PDF attachment to unsoa-procurement@un.org and njiinu@un.org. Vendor Response Forms must be completed in full and supported by information providing the evidence of the company’s ability to satisfy UNSOS’s requirement. The United Nations Development Programme in Somalia (UNDP) is seeking a qualified professional cleaning company to provide cleaning, gardening, maintenace and garbage collection services 8 hours a dau, 6 days a week at the United Nations Common Compound (UNCC) in Hargeisa, Somaliland; which serves as the Area office for UNDP and other UN​ agencies.The UNCC comprises of five blocks and open spaces covering a total of 12,517 sqm enclosed in a perimeter wall. The cleaning services will also be exetended to the UN Clinic building 4040sqm in a perimeter wall next to UNCC Hargeisa. At any one time there are approximately 70 staff members in the compound.

The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent and qualified companies for the provision of Waste Management Services in 6 regions in Somalia: Sector 1 - (Mogadishu and Baledogle), Sector 2- Dhobley, Sector 3- Baidoa, Sector 4- Belet Weyne, Sector 5- Jowhar and Sector 6- Kismayo. UNSOS is planning to put in place a five-year contract for the provision of Waste Management Services. The successful Contractor's responsibilities shall be to provide the following services in UNSOS/ AMISOM camps in Somalia: i. Supply, delivery and Installation of materials and consumables: Waste Collection Bins, biohazard disposal bags, containers for medical waste and signboards; ii. This request for pre-qualification is for the sole purpose of establishing a list of highly qualified contractors who are technically, financially and administratively capable of providing excellent construction project(s) of various sizes and complexities for the next (3) three years. see the list below:

Contractors are requested to indicate the volume of work they can undertake.

 

ROAD REHABILITATION:

  1.   Grading and compacting using acceptable laterite or road materials;
  2.   Reinforced concrete culverts fabrication and installation as per drawings and specifications;

  5.   Assess to Surveying Equipment;
