1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the provision of Cleaning/Janitorial, Ground Maintenance, and Road Sweeping Services including provision of cleaning supplies and equipment/tools island-wide at the following locations:
United Nations Protected Area (UNPA) (Nicosia)
Cleaning Services: (i) Blue Beret Camp (BBC), (ii) Camp Maple Leaf & Tatry Camp, (iii) FMPU Station HQ, Morphou Gate, Foxtrot Gate, Fire Training Area & UN Flight, (iv) Chief of Mission's Residence & (v) Good Offices Compound.
Ground Maintenance Services: (i) BBC & Maple Leaf, (ii) UN Flight, Jet A1 Fuel Storage, FMPU, UNPOL Club, Chief of Mission Residence, Fire Training Area, Ammunition Storage and (iii) Good Offices
Road Sweeping Services: (i) UNFICYP UN Flight area (inside and outside), (ii) UNPA internal asphalt roads, (iii) Old Airport Terminal for Official functions and (iv) UN Flight Second Hangar and adjacent car parking area
Cleaning Services: (i) Camp San Martin in Skouriotissa, (ii) Roca Camp in Xeros and (iii) UNPOL Stations Linou Station & Dhenia Station
Ground Maintenance Services: UNPOL Stations Linou Station & Dhenia Station
Sector 2 (Nicosia)
Cleaning Services: (i) Ledra Palace Hotel, (ii) Wolseley Barracks & CO Accommodation, (iii) CMP Office and (iv) OP54
Ground Maintenance Services: (i) Ledra Palace Hotel and (ii) OP54
Road Sweeping Services: Ledra Palace Hotel Car Park
Cleaning Services: (i) Camp General Stefanik & Medical Center in Famagusta, (iii) Camp Saint Istvan in Athienou and (iv) UNPOL Stations and Civil Affairs Offices; Athienou, Leonariso Station, Pyla Station / Civil Affairs & Dherynia Station
Ground Maintenance Services: UNPOL Stations; Leonariso Station & Dherynia Station
2. The resulting Contract shall be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two additional periods of up to one (1) year each, at UNFICYP’s sole option. UNFICYP is under no obligation to order any minimum services.
3. In this regard UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest by providing all relevant information using the attached Vendor Response Form, also available in our website www.unficyp.org. The interest should be sent to the attention of Spyros Symeonides either via fax +357-22-614493 or via email email@example.com no later than Monday, 06 March 2017. Only those companies that are registered at a minimum, UNGM Level 1 would be eligible for award of contract.
4. UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process.
