Vehicles and Specialist Equipment

SOUTHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL invites applications from suitably experienced suppliers who wish to be considered for inclusion on framework agreements to supply Commercial Vehicles (over 7500 kgs) together with other specialist vehicles and equipment in 7 Lots.
The Council intends to award a number of Framework Agreements following a two-stage, restricted process, starting with a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire stage. The frameworks will be multi-contractor frameworks allowing for mini-competitions for selecting suppliers of particular vehicles.
Suppliers can apply for any combination of the following Lots:
Lot 1 – Commercial Vehicles 7500 kgs and over including tippers, flatbed and box vehicles plus vehicles with specialist built bodies all with or without ancillary equipment such as tailifts, binlifts and small cranes;
Lot 2 – Passenger Carrying Vehicles;
Lot 3 – Waste Disposal Vehicles;
Lot 4 – Road Maintenance and Cleaning Vehicles;
Lot 5 – Agricultural and Grounds Maintenance, Highway and Building Construction equipment including ride on mowers, agricultural tractors, excavators, material handlers and similar equipment..
Lot 6 – Agricultural and Grounds Maintenance, Highway and Building Construction equipment, including handheld and/or pedestrian controlled equipment , including hedge cutters, push mowers, rotary mowers , strimmers, Kango Hammers, vibrating rollers, compressors, drills;
Lot 7 – Specialist vehicles including 4x4 light tippers and restricted access vehicles.
