The goal of this consultation procedure is to investigate which supplier(s) can deliver a MALDI-ToF-spectrometer which can provide TU Delft the results as desired and which fulfils the technical requirements. On the basis of the outcome of the first step in this consultation procedure, TU Delft determines the way how the subsequent procurement process will be organized.
Note: this is not a call for tender, interested parties cannot derive rights from their response.
The Deptarment of Chemical Engineering is looking for a MALDI-ToF mass spectrometer, to be used for determination of molecular mass, high resolution mass and (when appropriate) mass distribution of small molecules, polymers, and biomolecules such as proteins and DNA.
The main users are organic chemists who do synthesis of small molecules and polymers of varying hydrophobicity/polarity, and solubility.
The machine will be operated and maintained by PhD students and technicians with limited expertise and training.
This market exploration is in preparation for the proposed tender for sampling and chemical analyzes of surface waters, wastewater, water, floating and biota.
In order to minimize the management burden on contracts, RWS wants to apply to only a few broad contracts in which the work is bundled as much as possible. Therefore, RWS intends to integrate the sampling, transport and analysis as much as possible for a new tender for chemical water quality monitoring.
