The spectral ellipsometer with an incident angle variable operating in UV, visible and near infrared spectrum for applications in the field of characterization of solids and thin films. Reason effectiveness of public procurement: The description needs to be the fulfillment of public contracts achieved: Needs to be the fulfillment of public contracts are filled, they are tied with the research orientation of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, especially in the field of materials research, which is very focused on perspective materials for optics. Research in the field of thin layers of advanced materials is required faculty to equip specialized equipment, which is a spectral ellipsometer with variable angles of incidence. A description of the subject contract: The subject of the tender is the supply of spectral ellipsometer with a variable angle of incidence of working in the ultraviolet, visible and near infrared region of the spectrum for applications in the characterization of solids and thin films. Description of the relationship between the subject contract and the client's needs: Currently, the research of the Faculty of Chemical Technology greatly focused on optical materials and thin films. For characterization of optical properties of materials and thin films is used to measure spectral dependence of optical transmission, reflectivity and spectral ellipsometry with variable angle of incidence. Spectral ellipsometry with variable angle of incidence allows for obtaining the optical characteristics (refractive index, extinction coefficient) in a wide spectral range (0.25 to 2.5 microns), covering UV visible and near infrared region of the spectrum. The spectral ellipsometer allows the characterization of both bulk materials and thin films, including multi-layer structures. Expected date of fulfillment of public contracts: september 2016.
