A free public event, the Wales National Airshow is set over a stretch of approximately 5km along Swansea Bay. The promenade will be packed full of fun family themed entertainment.
To compliment a packed schedule of ground and air entertainment we are looking for appropriate catering units, public bars and ice cream units for the general public.
Attracting over 150,000 visitors in 2015 and 180,000 visitors in 2013, the event is one of the biggest in Wales.
The event takes place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July and the ground activities and trading hours are 10am until 6pm both days.
The City & County of Swansea requires companies to submit proposals for the supply of:

¿ Lot 2 – Public Bars
¿ Lot 3 - Ice Cream Concession

Attracting over 200,000 visitors in 2016 and 150,000 visitors in 2015, the event is one of the biggest in Wales and due to its popularity the event takes place every year. The event will be held on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July 2017 with ground activities and traders open between 10am until 6pm both days. Dates for 2018 and 2019 yet TBC but will be of a similar time of year. Provision of Reactive Property Repairs & Ad-Hoc Refurbishment/Modification Works

The Framework will require the successful supplier to carry out a wide scope of reactive property repairs and refurbishment/adaptation works which will involve the deployment of building trades such as carpentry, bricklaying, plastering, painting and glazing, plus external works such as drainage repairs, hard landscaping repairs etc., but will also involve electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs. The successful supplier will be expected to provide the full range of the aforementioned services as well as operating a 24hr, 365 day emergency service, over the term of the contract. Attendance and completion of reactive repairs will be subject to pre-determined timescales. Typically the works will involve; Carrying out reactive repairs to the building fabric and infrastructure of the buildings and grounds of each site, including external works and drainage, electrical and mechanical and plumbing services, but excluding repairs to Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Plant & equipment, Central Boiler Plant, Catering equipment, Fire Alarm servicing and maintenance, Lifts and Hoists, Intruder Alarms, CCTV systems, Sewage Pumps and Portable Appliance Testing. The contract will also require the supplier to provide services involving small scale ad-hoc alterations, adaptations, upgrading and refreshing of existing accommodation. It is likely that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (SI 2006/246) (TUPE) will apply to the re-tendering of the Contract. Therefore, if the Contract is awarded to a new service provider, the contracts of employment of those employees who are essentially dedicated to the Contract will transfer to the new service provider who will inherit all rights, duties and liabilities in relation to them. Works required under the framework will have a target commencement date of 05 January 2015.
