Catering Loyalty, Promotions & Cashless Payment System

Suppliers MUST be able to comply with all of the requirements below in order to be considered. Swansea University are seeking to procure a smartphone-based loyalty, promotions and cashless payment system for its Catering Services. The required product specification is as follows: Loyalty Scheme • Must enable customers to build up loyalty points on the basis of their expenditure at Catering Services outlets • Must enable customers to redeem loyalty points for rewards that can be provided through Catering Service outlets • Must include a service for digital stamp-cards (i.e. loyalty for individualised products, e.g. “buy 10 coffees and get the 11th free”) Promotions • Must be able to provide promotions to users of the system in the form of vouchers or similar, that can be redeemed in the Catering Services outlets • Promotions must be able to be targeted to specific outlets, products, or timescales and must include multi-buy and up-selling / cross-selling options • Promotions must be able to be targeted as specific user segments, e.g. those who have not utilised the system in the previous week Cashless Payment • Must be able to provide a mechanism for payment at the Point of Sale • Payment system must be swift – under 10 seconds on average • Must not require the establishment of a separate digital wallet – should integrate directly with a user’s bank account • Must integrate with Fidelity EPOS software • Must include full audit trail that can be accessed by the University’s finance department • Must be able to provide digital receipts to users Platform • Must be available and optimised for smartphone platforms – Android and IoS as a minimum • Must not require the user (or the University on behalf of users) to purchase any additional infrastructure i.e. cards, wristbands or similar • Must include web-based portal for Catering Services to administer promotions and review their effectiveness Resilience • Must provide 24/7 technical support for the system • System must be tested and must have been in use by existing customers for a minimum of 24 months – submissions based on developing new or bespoke systems will not be considered Commercial Arrangement • May be on a fixed-fee basis, a per transaction basis, or a combination of these • Contract length of between 12months and 24months • Must be able to launch by September 2018 Expressions of interest should be sent to email@example.com Suppliers MUST be able to comply with all of the requirements above in order to be considered.
