The Catering Equipment contract involves the supply and installation of all identified ‘heavy equipment’ to the correct services as specified. As part of the contract the Catering Equipment Contractor will be responsible for all coordination drawings, based on the constructed structural spaces ensuring coordination with all equipment in the specification package. This shall include all bespoke and proprietary items (the detail design drawings shall be BIM models reflecting design and tender stage information as REVIT models).

Proposals from Tenderers are being sought to provide a comprehensive catering facility and service to Sacred Heart Secondary School. It is intended to award a contract to a single service provider. The School requires the provision of healthy, balanced and nutritious catering service to students at affordable prices. A high quality, flexible and responsive service is required combined with continuous improvement and innovation for the 33 weeks of the year on which the school operates (School calendar will be issued to the successful tenderer). This may include the days when state examinations take place. Users of the canteen will be mainly comprised from the student population but will include teaching and ancillary staff and visitors to the school. The School welcomes all proposals on the selling of the food in the canteen however it should be noted that the menu must be in line with the School’s Healthy Eating Policy in Appendix A1.17. Special Offers and/or theme menus are also welcome in order to attract student’s interest. The service provider may also, with notice, be required to provide tea/coffee and/or light snacks for a small number of events that may arise from time to time out of the ‘normal’ hours associated with the school e.g. Staff Meetings, Board Meetings, Visiting groups, Student Graduations, Parent teacher meetings. This provider may need to fit-out (preferably to be commenced the week beginning the 28th November 2016 (subject to review), operate and manage the canteen in the school from 9th January 2017.
