Pre-Solicitation Notice - The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) is seeking small-business contractors capable of providing all labor, equipment, and materials to perform the maintenance and repair of the USCGC HEALY during a dockside of the vessel at her homeport in Seattle, WA.
CGC HEALY, the Coast Guards largest vessel, is 420 feet long, 82 feet wide, drafts 29' 3" feet (at full load), and weighs 16,000 long tons (at full load). CGC HEALY is home ported at 1519 Alaskan Way S., Seattle, WA 98134.
The solicitation will be issued utilizing procedures in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Item and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about October 2016 with a planned closing date of 30 days after issuance.
