This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA118-15-Q-0145 and is issued as a request for quote. Quotes are due to be in receipt by this office not later than 03/11/2015 at 3:00 PM EST. Award shall be made to the offeror that submits the lowest price that meets the requirements. Bidders must address each item in their quote that was addressed in the solicitation in order to meet the requirement. This requirement is total set aside for small business and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541519 with a corresponding Small Business Size standard of $35.5 million. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information Technology, Enterprise System Engineering requires software maintenance, and upgrade support to monitor service availability of the certificate revocation list (CRL) and online certificate status protocol (OCSP) services within VA. The OCSP and CRL services are integral to VA's approach to email encryption and system logon, monitoring the availability of these systems. The software maintenance included with the software will cover any support issues or bug fixes that VA might run into while implementing or operating the software to monitor these services. The maintenance will also cover any new releases of the software.
