In the daily business operations of the municipality of Sittard-Geleen come almost daily small batches of soil-free and other, building or waste materials such as various types of asphalt paving materials and foundation materials (in the broadest sense of the word) from the regular maintenance of roads, construction of driveways, parking lots, tree mirrors, etc. Over the past four years, the municipality has on average around 6500 tonnes of soil removed per year. For other released (waste) streams are difficult or impossible to make real estimates. However, the contract must also provide ground beside small batches of other wastes (such as the above asphalt, paving materials, base materials, etc.) which are limited in principle to approximately 400 tonnes per project. Larger parties are usually removed through work specifications or separate tenders. Regarding the definition bottom foreign matter is the percentage soil foreign material from the Soil Protection Act and the following Decree on Soil Quality. For this contract, the municipality of Sittard-Geleen enter into a contract with one supplier. This for the main period of two years with the option to extend to satisfaction with the performance of the contract, maximum two times for a period of 1 year each. Intended date of the agreement is 01/03/2016.
