There is an agreement on construction and operation of a system in which entrepreneurs and SMEs with growth potential, free of charge to receive feedback and advice from expert panels of experienced business and other relevant knowledge persons in relation to strategy, marketing, finance, export and other relevant growth parameters . The Scientific Panels shall be composed on an ad-hoc basis in relation to specific firms separate growth challenges.
Danmarks National bank is using the Calypso system front-to-back across assets as the portfolio management system. The continuous improvement of the system is handled internally in Nationalbanken. As part of the continuous improvement of the Calypso system, configuration in the Calypso system is performed for front-to-back functionality.
Nationalbanken is looking for three suppliers of Calypso Business Analysts (Calypso BA) with senior configuration skills within the Calypso system and excellent business knowledge on the front-to-back area. Award of contracts based on the framework agreement will be based on a re-opening of the competition.
The tasks to be performed by the Calypso BA's could be but are not limited to:
— Daily participation in the Continuous Improvement Calypso Team in Nationalbanken.
— Participation in development projects extending the business use of the Calypso system in Nationalbanken.
— Configuration of business solutions on front-, middle or back office area (including accounting area).
— Advice on configuration and business solutions in the Calypso system of Nationalbanken.
The Calypso BA should have at least 2 years of experience in an IT implementation project within front, middle or back office in a financial organization.
Documented extended experience in configuration of the Calypso system is required.
The Calypso BA should be able to analyse and provide efficient and professional solutions for complex business related problems. This requires the ability to work independently as well as finding solutions in close collaboration with internal business experts of Nationalbanken. The Calypso BA should be able to configure the business requirements in Calypso. If a solution cannot be configured, the Calypso BA should be highly experienced in producing detailed requirements for a custom solution to a Calypso Technical Analyst (Calypso TA).
All solutions should be tested thoroughly by the Calypso BA, i.e. writing and executing test cases using a standard test tool. Furthermore, it is required that all solutions are well documented in writing and explained to relevant business people.
The Calypso BA should have an excellent financial understanding. This includes detailed knowledge about subjects such as corporate actions, settlement of bond trades and cash, market data, and bond static data. Knowledge about the Danish financial sector, including Danish mortgage bonds, is an advantage.
Superb written and oral English skills are required.

The long-standing cooperation between Ghana and Denmark is a unique platform for leveraging the new strategic partnership. The main thrust of the partnership policy is to strengthen cooperation based on shared the objectives of strengthened political cooperation, promotion of inclusive and green growth, economic diplomacy and increased commercial cooperation, and consolidation of results in development programmes.
SPSD III comprises two main development engagements that will be funded from the budget committed for SPSD III and two side engagements that are a carry-over from existing activities. The 2 main development engagements are the Business Advocacy Challenge Fund (BUSAC III) and the Skills Development Fund (SDF II).
This call for tender covers the Business Advocacy Challenge Fund (BUSAC III). BUSAC is a challenge fund providing support to advocacy initiatives aimed at improving the business climate in Ghana or targeting specific constraints faced by groups of business operators and associations. BUSAC III will also be tasked to directly support the business-enabling environment and the business reform processes by creating amongst others very active Private Public Dialogue Platforms.
Danida now wants to recruit an individual company or a consortium of international and a Ghanaian partner organisation (called a consultant) to administrate the programme of the Fund. The BUSAC Consultant will provide technical, managerial and administrative expertise required in order to achieve these results. Furthermore, the BUSAC Consultant is responsible for logistics related to the operation of the BUSAC Secretariat and the activities to be undertaken by this. The budget for BUSAC III for the five-year period 2016-20 is approximately 120 000 000 DKK.
To be selected for tender the company must have experience in Fund Management from working in the West African region, and preferably in Ghana. The Fund Manager will also have a reference from working with advocacy in a West African context. Finally BUSAC supports, among other things, ‘right based advocacy’ and the Fund Manager will be expected to be familiar with Danida's Human Right Based Approach (HRBA) and UN's Global Compact Principles.
