Translink provides public transport services across Northern Ireland. Passenger facilities which include shops, cafes, ATMs, vending as well as fixed site advertising opportunities, are located across the current estate with the main provision in the Greater Belfast area. Translinks primary objective is to maximise ancillary income and develop future commercial opportunities derived from the 75 bus and rail stations across the network and other property holdings. Translinks secondary objective is to minimise the internal overhead associated with the management of its commercial estate, including all 75 stations, other properties, and other asset classes.
The Council is legally obliged to produce statutory notices, promote key services and provide information to residents to enable them to access its services. The awarded contractor will therefore be expected to provide a weekly publication, with a minimum guaranteed circulation delivered door to door in the borough. If the contractor does not currently meet ABC audit rules, the Council will allow it a period of up to 9 months to gain ABC verification.
