RTÉ invites submissions from suitable competent suppliers for the supply of a managed service as follows:

Provide an offsite Service Desk function which will include:

—Ticket resolution, where tickets are generated by RTÉ end users using software to be provided as a result of this Tender.

—Where the ticket cannot be resolved offsite by the vendor, assign it to the appropriate RTÉ Resolver Group.

And provide service desk software on site.

IT Help Desk Managed Support Service. Options: Extended Hours + Daily rates for on-site IT support staff.

IT asset management system for use for the RTÉ PC Fleet of 2000+ PCs.

RTÉ Digital creates and maintains the websites, RTÉ Player, RTÉ News Now, Radio Player apps and Aertel.

While there is potential to provide a single integrated solution for both RTÉ IT Helpdesk and RTÉ Digital, support requirements differ so a separate contract may be awarded and a separate lot is outlined here.
