The existing FM/AM/DAB Broadcasting Networks comprise of: A) Three VHF/FM transmitting networks located on approximately 17 main sites and a further 9 relay stations; B) A 2Mb/s distribution network to provide the main VHF/FM transmitters with program feeds; C) Two DAB transmitting networks located on approximately 63 sites; D) A 2Mb/s distribution network to provide the DAB transmitters with program feeds; E) A single long-wave AM transmitting station; F) Radio Electronic News Gathering equipment operating around 400MHz, located at 26 of the transmitting sites; The sites (some services share facilities) are (roughly) distributed in the Danish provinces as follows: 1. Bornholm, approximately 5 sites; 2. Sjælland + surrounding islands, approximately 10 sites; 3. Fyn + surrounding islands; approximately 10 sites; 4. Jylland, approximately 40 sites. G) Network Management Service operating on a 24-7 basis to gather data from the transmitting sites and to control Operations and Maintenance staff who will be dispatched to repair and maintain the network as may be required; H) Management of other Telecommunications service delivery associated with the Broadcast Networks; I) Site infrastructure support as may be required. Overall the contract being offered will include three important objects: 1) Service, operation and maintenance of the DR DM/AM/DAB Broadcasting Networks with an estimated value of 20 000 000 DKK a year. 2) Site infrastructure support related to the DR FM/AM/DAB Broadcasting Networks with an estimated value of 2 000 000 DKK a year. 3) An option for reinvestment in FM-transmitter-equipment with an estimated value for purchases of approximately 10-15 000 000 DKK and related site infrastructure support of approximately 5 000 000 DKK: In the light of the fact that some of DR’s FM-transmitters are old, DR at the time of publication of this notification expects a replacement to be profitable. This means that DR obtains a right to decide whether and / or when the option may be fulfilled. DR shall not be obligated to execute the option. The duration of the contract is 10 years. The total value of the contract in the contract period is thus estimated to 235–240 000 000 DKK including the estimated value of the option replacing FM-transmitter-equipment.

DR is a leading public broadcaster in Denmark producing a variety of content from fiction, documentary, entertainment, sport and news on several platforms including TV, radio, web and mobile devices. The average number of employees is 3000. The purpose of the present tender is to provide DR with a framework agreement as an ongoing subscription (service) regarding commercial off-the-shelf Media production software with additional services. The delivery of off-the-shelf software shall be compatible with DR's' existing manufacturer-specific (eg. Microsoft, Apple, Adobe) software or specific file formats, and shall be eligible for DR's IT environment without significant adaptations, integrations, or the like. The detailed specification of off-the-shelf-software, which is compatible with manufacturer-specific software and specific file formats will be stated in the tender documents. By off-the-shelf software means standardized software products that can be readily installed and in use in DR's IT environment at either the individual desktop PC at server level and / or infrastructure. Off-the-shelf-software is typically delivered on a storage device (CD-ROM, etc.) or via DR's download. Providers will be asked to offer software covering functionalities including (but not limited to) non-linear video editing, video compositing and effects, digital image editing, audio editing, ingest, and transcoding functionality, all at an advanced professional level suitable for broadcast production and providing a high level of integration between software components. The Royal Danish Air Force (RDAF) existing terrestrial VHF and UHF radios used for "Ground-Air-Ground" communication are no longer operationally or technically up-to-date. The purpose of the procurement is thus to replace a number of the radios that are installed at Remote Radio Sites located at various locations in Denmark. These radios are used by the RDAF Air Control Wing for military "Ground-Air-Ground" radio communication in secure or non-secure mode of operations in order to be able to direct, guide, control and command aircrafts. In order to support secure mode operations a number of the radios shall have broadband capability. The procurement also includes the replacement of both VHF and UHS radios, used by Air Traffic Control at the military air bases where the radios are used for communication with aircrafts e.g. in relation to take off and landing. This use of the UHF and VHF radios is essential (flight safety) and operational availability shall be 99,9 % when operating 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. All the radios are to be interfaces to the operators by a Voice Communication System. It shall be noticed that the equipment within the scope of this request for Tender shall be purely Commercial Off the The Shelf, COTS. Commercial Off The Shelf equipment (COTS) is a US Federal Acquisition Regulation term defining a non developmental item that is commercial and sold in substantial quantities in commercial marketplaces, and that can be produced or utilized under government contract in the same precise form as available to the general public. The procurement will include spare parts and Line Replaceable Units (LRU) spare parts. Additionally the procurement includes training support and maintenance.
