The Government will award to ESCGov, Inc., a small business registered in CCR [CAGE Code 3L9F0]. This action is awarded in the amount of $40,438.71 to ESCGOV Inc. Description of Supplies/Services: Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) needs to purchase copies of JACK software, JACK Analysis Toolkit, JACK Occupant Packaging, yearly maintenance for each, and onsite training for ATC employees in the use of JACK. JACK is an anthropometric software package, utilized for analysis of field-of-view, workspace design, force measurements and space interactions. Authority Cited: Acquisition is a brand-name justified procurement to be purchased through GSA schedules, under the authority of FAR 8.404; Use of Federal Supply Schedules; and FAR 8.405-6, Ordering Procedures for Federal Supply Schedules, Limited Sources. Item was advertised on GSA under RFQ670021 from 04/26/12 to 05/03/12. Two (2) Offers were received as a result of the subject Request for Quotation. The offered prices are determined to be fair and reasonable based upon the price offered in comparison to the GSA Schedule, other quotations received, and the IGCE. Contractor is not debarred, suspended, or ineligible for award.

Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition and Procurement Office anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price design-build contract for tenant fit out of 54,000 square feet of Army executive workspace in the Pentagon. The solicitation will be issued as a set-aside for 8 (a) firms with an ACTIVE SECRET FACILITY CLEARANCE at the time proposals are submitted. The dollar magnitude for this project is approximately between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The performance period is seven (7) months. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. Requirement includes: Design-Build tenant fit out (TFO) of 54,000 sq ft of Army executive workspace in the Pentagon to be complete NLT 19 NOV 08. This area of the Pentagon was renovated two years ago and requires a refit for the new tenant. A test fit for the workspace will be provided with specific area requirements identified for all areas of the workspace. Design and construction efforts shall make every effort to protect and reuse existing structures, hardware, and finishes to accommodate the new tenant. The workspace is currently designed IAW the Universal Space Plan (USP) and all new design aspects shall adhere to USP standards. The USP standards for this space will be a combination of O-1 and O-2 space types. Special spaces include a new full-service commercial kitchen, four private bathrooms, multiple SCIF conference rooms with audiovisual and acoustical requirements, and offices built to TSWA standards. Design of the workspace shall support minimal alterations above ceiling, per the USP. Corridor design shall match 2nd Floor, E-Ring between Corridors 8 and 9. Due to the sensitive nature of the work location, prospective contractors are required to possess an active secret facility clearance. The geographic location of the work to be performed is Northern Virginia. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: FUNDS ARE PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE CLOSING DATE. The solicitation will be issued on or about 17 March 2008. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days later.
