Procurement of IT security partner.
Nacka pillars are openness and diversity. For the management of information means transparency that all information that the standard is available to all. Users can determine what is worth protecting is therefore central. As a municipality, it is obviously worth protecting that which is governed by laws and regulations (privacy, PUL, PDL), but also other information can be worthy of protection.
Diversity means for the user to a great extent freedom of choice when it comes to eg choice of products. This means that security solutions need to be set up in such a way that it provides flexibility for user selection and standardization can only rarely be justified. Within the municipality prioritized usability high, which is a balance in the choice of IT security solutions should be done. Knowledge about finding the right level of protection for each solution becomes crucial.
Nacka Municipality strives for a modern and flexible security architecture and an information and IT security, where the conscious actions of the security shall be made in a structured way. Increased knowledge of information security and IT security should not lead to the data becomes more locked in, but instead lies the importance of the knowledge that most of the information should be open and accessible and that the part that must be protected will be there in an adequate way. It should be easy to do right and safety must never be a barrier (may not prevent our working methods, processes, or user). The approach is that all information is available to anyone except in cases where the information is worthy of protection, where the challenge is to find the information that is worthy of protection and sensitize it. Then Nacka's IT environment includes large variety of IT equipment, the goal is to work with IT security in a way that does not require special equipment or standardization. Nacka's ambition is to introduce security technologies on the equipment in which it is justified from a technical and economic perspective.
