Restoration Of Vitoslavlitsy Museum Of Wooden Architecture
The Russian Federation has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of thePreservation and Promotion of Cultural Heritage Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for restoration of Vitoslavlitsy Museum of WoodenArchitecture. This contractwill be jointly financed by the Russian Federation. Bidding process will be governed by the World Bank's rules andprocedures.
The St. Petersburg Foundation for Investment projects (FISP) acting on behalf of the Ministry of Culture of the RussianFederation now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the restoration of Vitoslavlitsy Museum of Wooden Architecture ("the Works"). The Works comprise restoration of 21 wooden architecture building located on the territory of Museum of WoodenArchitecture and restoration of the main house, the outbuilding and the park of the adjacent former estate of CountessOrlova-Chesmenskaya.
Basic types of the Works are as follows:
§ Restoration of wooden architecture facilities subject to full or partialdismantling;
§ Restoration of stone architecture facilities;
§ Landscaping.
The project site is located4 kilometers off thecity of Veliky Novgorod, between Myachino Lake and Yurievskiy Pond.
Scheduled completion timeis 30 months.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding proceduresas specified inthe World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004 (revised in October 2006 and May 2010) ("ProcurementGuidelines"), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Saint-Petersburg Foundation for Investment Projects (FISP) andinspect the bidding documents during office hours from 1000 to 1700 hours at the address (1) given below.
A complete set of bidding documents in English with a copy in Russian may be issued to interested biddersupon submission of a written application to the above and presentation of a power of attorney for collecting the soft version ofthe complete set of the bidding documents.
Bids must be delivered to the address (2) below on or before 2 p.m. on August 18, 2016. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designatedrepresentatives who choose to attend at the address (3) below on 0205 p.m. on August18, 2016.
Allbids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration.
