The Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk (the Council) has been successful in obtaining initial funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, under the Parks for People programme, for the restoration and enhancement of the Hunstanton Heritage Gardens. The Council now intends to let a contract for the landscape design of the improvement works to form part of the second stage HLF bid for funds. The Lead Consultant will need to comprise of landscape architectural & architectural design expertise together with all other associated disciplines necessary to take forward the development elements of the project. In addition the Lead Consultant or their appointed sub-consultant is required to undertake project management, community consultation and engagement through to submission of the Round 2 bid. This includes preparation of the final application form. The successful consultant may also be retained, (subject to a successful round 2 HLF bid) for final design, project management and contract supervision for the delivery phase of the project. As such the tender is split into two distinct lots. The development contract will commence on 18.6.2017 and terminate on 1.3.2018. Further information.
