Swale Borough Council is inviting Expressions of Interest to tender for the Landscape Design, Architectural Building Design and Project Management Services for the Restoration and Enhancement of Faversham Recreation Ground to Swale Borough Council's Offices located at Swale House, East Street, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3HT. Following a successful Round one Heritage Lottery Fund Parks for People submission, the Council will appoint a Lead Consultant Landscape Architect/Project Manager to work with SBC and its partners through the development stage, to develop final restoration proposals including its historic features, enhancement of existing features and facilities and for provision of a cafe. The Lead Consultant will need to comprise of landscape architectural & architectural design expertise together with all other associated disciplines necessary to take forward the development elements of the project. In addition the Lead Consultant or their appointed sub-consultant is required to undertake project management, community consultation and engagement through to submission of the Round 2 bid. This includes preparation of the final application form. The successful consultant may also be retained, (subject to a successful round 2 HLF bid) for final design, project management and contract supervision for the delivery phase of the project. As such the tender is split into two distinct lots. The development contract will commence on 18.6.2017 and terminate on 1.3.2018. Further information.
