With Schloss Schwarzburg Thüringen has a unique cultural monument of national importance with an almost thousand-year history. In the action described in the following benefits are listed to develop a conservation and restoration overall design for the interiors of the building complex Corps de Logis and steeple Schloss Schwarzburg. Strategies on how best to preserve and reasonable complement of the original substance must be worked out in dialogue with the conservationists, architectural historians and architects. For this purpose an overall consideration of all existing in situ findings to the wall solid surfaces is sought. The lessons learned are summarized shown separately in the restoration plan. According to current knowledge the following steps are primarily intended: acquiring the building structure / screening, evaluation and integration of available documents, bills of quantities, reports and documentation, action plans, reports to individual measures as well as investigation reports on architectural history and restoration studies / participation in the formulation of objectives of other planning steps (step parallel for basic evaluation / planning architect); Detecting the rooms / documentation of interiors and interior surfaces / erection of qualitative portfolio and claims catalogs as necessary (step parallel to the preliminary design architect);

Background: With its state rooms, the Ekhof Theatre, the gardens and the art collections Friedenstein Palace has an outstanding cultural and historical rank and an ever increasing attractiveness as a destination for cultural tourism.
