Fertilizers must be stored by the Offeror until picked up by the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food at seeding time. The Offeror must be located within 35 kilometers driving distance of the Lacombe Research Centre, Lacombe, Alberta, and must be available for pick up from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM Monday to Saturday, not including statutory holidays, during seeding operations (May, June, and July). Anhydrous ammonia and the floated fertilizer must be delivered by the Offeror to the fields (Lacombe Research Centre) during seeding operations. Pasture fertilizer 46-0-0 will be floated on pastures as directed by farm operations manager. The Offeror should use self propelled modern fertilizer spreaders capable of entering through a 5 meter wide gate access. Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada requires a pull-type, six row plot seeder for seeding small-seeded oilseed research plots in a range of seedbed conditions. The seeder must be a multi-function design capable of seeding single row nursery plots, four row yield plots and bulk seeded areas (breeder seed increases and pathways). It must also be capable of side banding fertilizer for agronomy research trials and be able to seed place insect control products. Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Soil Remediation and Restoration ET022-161846/A Almonte, Cathleen Telephone No. - (204) 229-3862 ( ) Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC)- Environmental Services (ES) has been retained by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) to manage the remediation by excavation, removal, transport and off-site disposal of approximately 40 tonnes of Petroleum hydrocarbon and 150 tonnes of Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon impacted soil from 4 areas as well as decommission an underground storage tank from one of the areas and restore the excavated areas including supply, place and compact clean backfill, topsoil, with seeding and asphalt replacement as required at the AAFC Agroforestry Centre in Indian Head, Saskatchewan (the Site). All work to be completed in accordance to the specifications and in compliance with all relevant Codes, Guidelines, Standards, Criteria, Acts and Regulations. Impacted Soil will be removed from the Site and disposed of at an off-Site disposal facility that is licensed to receive the soil. The underground storage tank decommissioning will require a licensed petroleum technician from the Pr ovince of Saskatchewan.
